Why do immature little prick car drivers find it necessary to swerve into puddles to soak pedestrians?

I like a joke as much as the next person, which is why I've started carrying a rock in my pocket just for rainy days... Oh look I'm wet and your back light's smashed in, how fucking funny is that? har har fucking har.
